Animal alphabet books are a great way to teach your toddler or preschooler his or her ABC's. In many of these books, the names of the animals are matched up with a letter --A is for alligator, B is for bear and so on. However, in other types of animal alphabet books, the letter itself is shaped like the critter described. And since these are picture books, there's not many words to get in the way of the wonderful illustrations. Both ways are great educational tools and make learning the ABC's a whole lot of fun!
